 We finished the oral exams today. This weekend's homework is to study for the exams next week.

 Today we finished with the new words and continued working with articles and adjectives. The unit test will be tomorrow. Tonight's homework is to write the words 6 times, write a sentence and definition for each word, study for the test, and do page 337 in RWN.

 Today we continued with the new vocabulary. We also covered adjectives and articles, the grammar point for this unit. Tonight's homework is to write the words 6x, write the definition and write a sentence for each word. The students also need to do page 330 in RWN.

 Today we continued we s0tarted the new vocabulary for this week.  The spelling quiz from last week was returned today. Please sign them and return them tomorrow. Tonight's homework is to correct the quiz, write the new words 7x, write the definitions and a sentence for each word.

 Today we took the spelling quiz for The Unsinkable Wreck of the RMS Titanic.  The unit test from last week was reviewed and sent home today. The class average was 83. Please sign it and return it on Monday. This weekend's homework is to correct the test and write a summary of The Unsinkable Wreck of the RMS Titanic.

 Tonight's homework is to do pages 331 and 336 in RWN, and study for tomorrow's quiz.

 Today we started the new unit, The Wreck of the RMS Titanic.  Tonight's homework is to write the nine words we covered in class 5x each, write the definition, and draw a picture.

 Today we finished The Skunk Ladder and had the unit test. This weekend's homework is to write a journal entry imagining that Crazy Eddie is the student's child. What would they do with a child like him? 200-250 words

 Tonight's homework is to correct the RWN, do the worksheets on Negatives, do page 316 in RWN, finish reading The Skunk Ladder, and study for the test.

 Tonight's homework is to write each word 5x, write the definition, and write a sentence for each word. This is due on Wednesday. Wednesday's homework is to do RWN pages 319-326.

 We started the new vocabulary this week. There are 12 words tonight because we won't have English class on Wednesday.  Tonight's homework is to write each word 4x, write the definition, and write a sentence for each word.

 Today we had the spelling and vocabulary quiz for The Skunk Ladder. The quizzes were returned today. Please sign them and return them on Monday. This weekend's homework is to correct the quizzes, and to correct the realistic fiction story that the students wrote last week.
