 Today we continued working on the new vocabulary. Tonight's homework is to write the new words 5x, write a sentence and write the definition for each word.  Today we continued to work with the new vocabulary and started discussing vocabulary strategies for the new unit.  Today we started the new unit The Skunk Ladder. Tonight's homework is to write words 1-8 seven times each, write the definition for each word, and write a sentence for each word.

 Today we talked about fiction, and discussed the elements of fiction. This weekend's homework is to write a realistic fiction based on the ideas that the students came up with in group work.

 Tonight's homework is to do pages 270 and 274 in RWN. The listening and speaking exams were sent home today; please sign them and return them tomorrow.

 Today we reviewed the listening exam in class, and continued to review the previous units. There is no homework tonight.

 Today we finished the oral exams.  This weekend's homework is to correct the worksheets and letters that were sent home, and to study for the written exam next week.

 We started the Oral exams today. Not all of the students finished the exam; we should finish them tomorrow. There is no homework tonight, but students who haven't taken the exam yet should practice for the exam.

The listening exam was held this morning.  We finished the students' dramatic renditions of The Stormi Giovanni Club today, and reviewed for the oral exam in class. The oral exams start tomorrow, and will continue until Friday if necessary. Tonight's homework is to review for the oral exam.

 Today the students acted out the reading from the last unit. A lot of fun was had. Tomorrow is the listening exam, and Thursday and Friday will be the oral exams.
